| 英文描述 | Produced by BOVINE HERPESVIRUS 2. Ulceration of the skin of the teats and udder is the major syndrome of disease, but other skin areas can be affected (Pseudo-Lumpy Skin Disease). Lesions of mamillitis can spread over the entire udder and perineum. The mouths of nursing calves may be affected. A syndrome of skin necrosis, particularly on the flexor surfaces of the knees, has been described. In herds where virus is endemic, only heifers may be affected. Dx by viral isolation. |
