| 英文描述 | Chediak-Higashi syndrome is an autosomal recessive trait in cattle characterized by partial oculocutaneous albinism, photophobia, and a tendency to bleed. There is a high incidence of chronic recurring infections, especially respiratory, digestive and skin abscess problems. Enlarged cytoplasmic granules are in most types of granule-containing cells. Dx by demonstration of granules in cells such as neutrophils and eosinophils in clinically affected animals. Affected animals have an average life span of about 1 year and there is no specific treatment. |
