| 英文描述 | Pediculosis is common; caused by sucking lice of HAEMATOPINUS, LINOGNATHUS and SOLENOPOTES spp. and the chewing louse BOVICOLA. Most common on the dorsal part of the animal and a greater problem in winter. They are obligate ectoparasites and generally cannot survive off the host for more than a week. Blood sucking lice might cause anemia severe enought to cause death following stress of these anemic animals. |
