| 英文描述 | Atrial flutter is an abnormal mechanism within the atrium associated with atrial tachycardia, regular rhythm, and varying degrees of atrioventricular block. The ventricular rate can be slow depending on the degree of heart block or may be as high as 300/minute if the ventricle responds to each atrial activation. Dx by flutter wave on the ECG. Pressure on the eyeballs can cause a transient A-V block and reveal flutter wave in cases with high ventricular rates. This is rare, but is a sign of serious disease. Rare in cats, horses and cattle. |
