| 英文描述 | A Brown Swiss calf was tetraplegic from birth, but bright and alert with a normal appetite. At necropsy there were microscopic lesions compatible with axonopathy characterized by accumulation of neurofilaments in axons of multiple systems of the CNS and in perikarya of neurons of the neocortex, cerebellum, and selected nuclei of the brain stem (Kwiecien et al.). The cause is unknown, but this might be an unusual presentation of the 'weaver syndrome' developed in utero (Kwiecien et al.). |
