| 英文描述 | Dermoids are normal tissue found at abnormal sites. Ocular dermoids can affect the conjunctiva, cornea or eyelid, unilaterally or bilaterally. Congenital corneal dermoids in dogs are more common in large breeds. Most dermoids contain hair, which might cause irritation. May be inherited in Hereford cattle. Congenital defects of the lateral canthus with corneal and conjunctival dermoids occur in Burmese cats. Epibulbar dermoid are reported in the birman cat. Dx by signs, histology. Treat by surgical removal. |
