| 英文描述 | Pigmented tumors of the eye are uncommon in horses, but dermal melanomas of the eyelids, intraocular choroidal melanomas and benign epibulbar melanocytoma have been seen. Melanoma is the most common intraocular tumor in dogs and cats, and in cats it is commonly in the iris and ciliary body. Metastasis may occur. Dx is by biopsy. Rarely may be non-pigmented. Has been mentioned as occurring in cattle and sheep, but rarely reported. There is one report of congenital intraocular melanoma in a calf, and uveal malignant melanoma was described in ducks (Gilger et al.). |
