| 英文描述 | Sulphur is occasionally used as a topical treatment for ringworm and is given orally as a 'tonic'. Dx by signs and history of animals being overdosed with sulphur. Accidental poisoning due to consumption of sulphur mixed with ground corn of sprayed on a pasture field have also been reported, as has ingestion of gypsum (calcium sulfate) fertilizer. At necropsy there may be the smell of hydrogen sulfide gas from the rumen. |
