| 英文描述 | Murray Grey calves in Australia developed a chronic, progressive and fatal disease, characterized by jaundice and anemia. Signs were usually first noticed at 3 weeks to 2 months of age. There was severe regenerative anemia. At necropsy the liver was enlarged, mis-shapen and sometimes fibrosed. This syndrome appears to be due to persistent or recurrent intravascular hemolysis. The cause is unknown, but an inherited biochemical defect or aberration in red blood cell morphology has been considered (Nicholls et al.). |
