| 中文描述 | 此病的特徵是，肝有漸進的脂肪浸潤，進而肝硬化，病程持續約8~10個月，此病在西德州以持續了好幾年。任何年齡或性別的反芻獸皆可被感染。發病率和致死率皆很高。黃疸很少發生。病因未知，此病似乎不會傳播，沒有任何病因的毒素被鍵識出來(Helman et al.)。藉由肝的組織檢查來診斷此病。 |
| 英文描述 | A disease characterized by gradual fatty infiltration of the liver, progressing to cirrhosis over 8-10 months has been a problem for many years in western Texas. Ruminants of any age or sex can be affected. Morbidity and mortality can be quite high. Icterus seldom develops. The cause is unknown, the disease does not appear to be transmissible, and no causative toxin has been identified (Helman et al.). Dx by histologic examination of the liver. |
