| 英文描述 | Pigs which are externally female but have testes or combinations of ovaries and testes internally are fairly common. Prevalence surveys in several countries indicate about 1/200 females are affected, can be higher in certain areas due to selective breeding. Crosses of homozygous polled Saanen goats yielded an increased proportion of males, and those polled males had a high incidence of infertility and reproductive anomalies. In dogs and cats, the external genitalia seen in intersex states varies widely, and diagnosis is based on gonadal biopsy. Pseudohermaphdites are genetic and gonadal females with partial masculinization of the external genitalia. |
