| 英文描述 | Ulcerative lymphangitis is a bacterial infection of the cutaneous lymphatics of horses, cattle, sheep and goats. In horses, caused by CORYNEBACTERIUM PSEUDOTUBERCULOSIS, and occasionally C. EQUI, streptococci, or other bacteria, and is mildly contagious. Subcutaneous nodules develop, often at the rear fetlock area (although other parts of the body can be affected) and can break to discharge a creamy greenish pus. Dx by culture. Relapses of healed lesions are common. A similar condition has been recorded in cattle, also due to C. PSEUDOTUBERCULOSIS and/or other bacteria. Appears to be quite rare in sheep and goats. |
