| 英文描述 | Bernese Mountain Dogs 6-8 weeks of age developed signs of progressive cerebellar disease, including progressive ataxia with strength and head bobbing. These pups were also found to have increased concentrations of bile acids after fasting and high plasa ammonia concentrations. At necropsy there was severe cerebellar cortical degeneration (abiotrophy) and lesions of hepatic degeneration and fibrosis. A diagnosis of hepatocerebellar degeneration was made. Neither the cause nor treatments are known, although carbohydrate-deficient glycoprotein syndrome of humans resembles this condition (Carmichael et al.). |
