| 中文描述 | 伯恩山犬品系的狗已有研究指出，在2~8週齡可能會有震顫的現象發生。這是種在頭部、四肢難察覺的現象，在激動時會較嚴重，但是在睡眠時變會消失。除此之外，雖然只有一點虛弱的現象，但是會把尾巴翹高和後肢僵硬行動的現象。在屍解時，在脊髓有髓鞘過少的現象。一些證據指出此症狀和遺傳正染色體退化有關，症狀可能持續一輩子，確診只獳在死後分析時發現。 |

| 英文描述 | A series of Bernese Mountain dogs has been described which developed a tremor starting at 2-8 weeks of age. This is a fine tremor which affects both the limbs and head. It becomes worse with excitement and disappears with sleep. There is also mild weakness, high tail carriage and a stiff action of the hind legs. At necropsy there was hypomyelination of the spinal cord, and there is some evidence that this may be inherited as an autosomal recessive. Definitive diagnosis is only possible post mortem. Signs may persist throughout life but decline with age. |
