| 中文描述 | 針狀體毛髮增多症的毛囊有發育障礙,且其毛髮為粗而易脆針狀的.一些年輕'無受傷的凱利藍梗犬,患了此病,其針狀體毛直徑約1-2mm,長度約0.5-3cm.損傷可以在任何地方,但在側面跗關節的部分最為常見.沒有其他臨床症狀,但患病的犬隻可能會過度的舔和嚼患病的部位.在6月齡到1歲之間會有臨床症狀的出現. |

| 英文描述 | Spiculosis is characterized by dysplastic dyskeratotic hair bulbs with thick brittle spicule-like hair. A series of young, intact male Kerry blue terriers had hard brittle spicules 1-2 mm in diameter and 0.5 to 3 cm in length. Lesions can be anywhere, but were most frequent over the lateral hock area. There may be no other clinical signs, or there can be excessive licking and chewing of the affected areas. Signs developed at 6 months to 1 year of age. |
