| 中文描述 | 褥瘡常見於長期躺臥的動物。褥瘡也會因為包紮過緊，使用石膏、或其他慢性壓迫而發生。馬匹用來處裡褥瘡的特殊膠帶下方，常引發另一個褥瘡或腫痛，且轉變為慢性病灶與增厚。小牛會因為乾掉的糞便壓迫血管阻塞，導致尾巴末端發生壞疽。曾經有一隻四個月大的小牛發生褥瘡膿腫。膿腫主要發生於胸脯區、腕關節的背側與膝關節的外側。這些病灶區都是位於皮下組織且有被膜包被，而且可以分離出牛黴漿菌病原。錯誤的包紮方式也會導致嚴重的外傷。 |

| 英文描述 | Pressure sores are common in animals which remain recumbent for long periods of time. Sores can also occcur following tight bandages or casts or other chronic pressure. Sores and galls under areas of tack in horses represent a special type of pressure sore, and become chronic and thickened. Gangrene and sloughing of the distal tail can occur in calves due to vascular occlusion by dried on fecal matter. One-4-month-old calves developed decubital (pressure sore areas) abscesses. The abscesses were primarily in the brisket region, the dorsal aspect of the carpus, and lateral aspect of the stifle joint. MYCOPLASMA BOVIS was isolated, the lesions were subcutaneous and encapsulated. Incorrect application of bandages can cause serious injury. |
