| 英文描述 | Brain hemorrhage or infarction is uncommon in domestic animals, but has been reported in the dog. Signs depend on the location of the lesion. Thrombotic occlusion is believed to the most common cause. Cerebrovascular disease in domestic animals us often secondary to other problems. There is a history of acute onset with lateralizing signs, and CSF examination may show red cells, elevated pressure, increased protein, xanthochromia, and/or a dull brown color. In many suspected cases there is a rapid improvement of signs, and this is highly suggestive of the diagnosis. In horses, cerebral aspergillosis and infarction due to mycotic vasculitis have been described. |
