| 英文描述 | This is a disease of unknown etiology that occurs only in Dalmatian dogs. An immune or metabolic basis is suspected. It is characterized by a pruritic dermatitis that results in discoloration of the coat and predisposes to secondary folliculitis and pyoderma. Dx is on the basis of breed and signs. Urine analysis may reveal uric acid or urate crystals, and there might be hyperuricemia. |
