| 英文描述 | A series of dogs, usually rapidly growing puppies, had skin disease associated with consumption of generic dry dog food sold in supermarkets. The syndrome resembles immune-mediated skin disease but there is improvement within one week of a change of diet to one meeting NRC requirements. This is due to a zinc deficiency. Dx by response to change in diet. Lesions are well demarcated and the bridge of the nose, mucocutaneous junctions, pressure points, and distal extremities are most commonly affected. |
