| 中文描述 | 巨大軸突神經病變已在年青德國牧羊犬出現，並伴隨漸進的部份癱瘓和運動失調。屍檢顯現在脊髓出現腫大的軸突包含著過度及混亂的神經原纖維。球狀體在小腦蚓部喙端白質和顆粒細胞層出現。末期會有巨食道和呼吸性肺炎。藉組織學、周圍神經切片做有效的診斷。 |
| 英文描述 | Giant axonal neuropathy has been reported in young German Shepherd dogs with progressive paraparesis and ataxia. Necropsy showed swollen axons containing excessive and disorganized neurofilaments in the spinal cord. Spheroids were seen in the rostral cerebellar vermis white matter and the granule cell layer. Terminally there was megaesophagus and aspiration pneumonia. Dx by histology, and biopsy of a peripheral nerve is useful in diagnosis. |
