| 英文描述 | This is a rare developmental abnormality of unknown etiology in dogs and cats. As early as 2 weeks of age affected animals appear weak, unable to stand, and attempts to move are made by pushing in sternal recumbency. Eventually, dorsoventral compression results in lateral displacement of the limbs and characteristic swimming movements. Aspiration pneumonia may be secondary. Dx by signs, age, rule-out of other causes. |
