| 英文描述 | Five 10-year-old German Shepherd littermates developed hind leg weakness and muscular atrophy. Signs were progressive. Primary lesions were neurogenic muscular atrophy, segmental demyelination, and Wallerian degeneration of the peripheral nerve fibers. The animals had been reared by different owners. Their mother and grandmother had died at 10 years of age after developing similar clinical signs; this was believed to be due to a late-onset hereditary peripheral neuropathy. |
