| 英文描述 | German Shepherd puppies 4-7 weeks of age developed clinical signs caused by a cutaneous vasculopathy. There were cutaneous lesions including swelling on the bridge of the nose, crusting and ulceration of the ear margins, nasal planum and tip of the tail, and in some cases depigmentation of the nasal planum. Footpads, usually all footpads, have lesions ranging from mild to moderate swelling and depigmentation to severe swelling and ulceration of the central portion of the footpad. Affected dogs appear to recover gradually by 5-6 months of age. Histologically there are signs of a vasculopathy. This condition seems to be inherited as an autosomal recessive. Clinical signs often follow or are exacerbated by vaccinations given to the puppies. No treatment has been effective, although systemic corticosteroids for 2-4 weeks might decrease fever and footpad swelling. This condition resembles 'collagen disorder of the footpads', but nasal, pinnal and vessel lesions appear to be unique to this vasculopathy. |
