| 英文描述 | At a few weeks to a few months of age, German shepherd dogs may develop soft and tender footpads. Carpal and tarsal pads are at high risk, and ulcers develop on affected pads. Multiple dogs of a litter are usually affected. Collagenolysis and predominantly neutrophilic inflammation are seen on histology. Treatment has been unsuccessful, but spontaneous regression by 1 year of age is common. By 2-3 years of age many affected dogs have died of renal amyloidosis. |
