| 英文描述 | German Shepherd dogs from a breeding colony developed bleeding disorders with clinical signs that included post-surgical hemorrhage, epistaxis, hyphema, and hematomas. The affected dogs experienced a mild to moderate bleeding tendency but had normal in vitro coagulation and normal response to tests of platelet adhesion, aggregation, and secretion. In contrast, abnormal values were consistently found in all tests of platelet procoagulant activity. This canine condition had features comparable to Scott syndrome of human beings and appears to be inherited as a homzygous recessive. |
