| 英文描述 | A group of related Irish Terrier pups developed difficulty in swallowing and a stiff gait at 8-13 weeks of age. Muscle enzyme levels were elevated. At necropsy the muscles were pale with yellowish white streaks, but other findings, including normal vitamin E levels and absence of specific histololgic changes, indicated that this disease was not due to Vitamin E deficiency. A myotonic reaction was present during electromyography. All affected pups were male, and this was believed to be an X-linked recessive. |
