| 英文描述 | Myoclonus is an involuntary brief muscle jerk, occuring singly or repetively. A family of Laborador Retrievers was described in which extensor rigidity and myoclonus started at 3 weeks of age and progressed. Extensor rigidity worsened following stimuli. Other progeny of the grandsire of affected pups had seizured. Muscle biopsies were normal. There was no evidence of myotonia on EMG. Dx by ruling out other causes such as strychnine or tetanus. |
