| 英文描述 | Central axonopathy caused progressive neurologic disease in Laborador Retriever puppies. Signs began at 3-4 weeks of age as the puppies began to try to walk, and were progressive, with eventual recumbency. The gait disorder reflected a spinal cord and cerebellar dysfunction. At necropsy a diffuse symmetrical axonopathy predominated in the tracts in the dorsal funiculus and fasciculus gracilis; there was axonopathy of Purkinje cells of cerebellar folia and a neuropathy occurred in the olivary nuclei. An autosomal recessive inheritance was suspected. |
