| 中文描述 | 組織細胞性潰瘍性結腸炎在病理上會出現黏膜被混合的炎症細胞滲透,在那過碘酸希夫氏出現陽性反應.拳師狗較容易患得此病,而且在兩歲以下的狗較容易得病.原因還未知.在下行結腸和直腸的地方有發現損傷,偶爾會發生在盲腸和近端結腸.嚴重的潰瘍會造成結疤和狹窄的現象.診斷藉由直腸鏡還有直腸和結腸壁的切片檢查,刪去其他不可能的病因.體重減輕,蒼白和發燒都不常見.結腸的穿孔是少見的併發症. |

| 英文描述 | Histiocytic ulcerative colitis is characterized pathologically by mucosal infiltration with a mixed inflammatory cell infiltrate, in which periodic acid-Schiff positive histiocytes are a dominant feature. This disease has a predisposition for the boxer dog, and is more common in dogs less than 2 years of age. The cause is unknown. Lesions are found in the descending colon and rectum, and occasionally in the cecum and proximal colon. Severe ulceraton may result in scarring and stricture formation. Dx is by proctoscopy and biopsy of the colon and rectal wall, and rule-out of other causes. Weight loss, pallor, and fever are uncommon. Perforation of the colonic wall is a rare complication. |
