| 中文描述 | 這是一種會不知不覺發作的染色體隱形疾病，通常在六月齡之前。拳獅犬五歲左右 時有類似的症候群。特色是發生在後腿的漸進性共濟失調、虛弱和伸展過度的步態，前肢接者發生。可表現出肌張力減退、膝蓋反射消失和本體感受缺乏。診斷可於屍體解剖時檢查中樞神經和周邊神經是否有創傷。目前無法治療。 |
| 英文描述 | This is an autosomal recessive disease with an insidious onset of clinical signs usually prior to 6 months of age. A similar syndrome was seen in a 5-year-old Boxer. It is characterized by progressive ataxia, weakness, and hypermetric gait that starts in the hind limbs. Forelimb signs follow. Hypotonia, patellar areflexia, and proprioceptive deficits present. Dx by lesions of CNS and peripheral nervous system at necropsy. There is no treatment. |
