| 英文描述 | A familial distal myopathy has been described in young Rottweilers. Multiple dogs in a litter may be affected. Clinical signs were present at 6-8 weeks of age and included distal appendicular weakness evidenced by postural abnormalities ranging from splayed digits and hyperflexion of the tarsal and carpal joints to a plantigrade and palmigrade stance. Diagnosis is by electrophysiologic testing and histologic examination of distal limb muscles. |
