| 英文描述 | This is an important cause of death in newborn premature puppies, and is char- acterized by progressive dyspnea, rapid shallow breathing, and grunting expiration within hours of birth that may progress to death. Dx at necropsy. Lung lobes are collapsed, and there is no histologic evidence of inflammatory cells, or cellular infiltration of the lung tissue. There is a deficiency of surfactant. |
