| 英文描述 | In ligneous conjuctivitis the conjunctival surface has a tough, dense, wood-like texture and appearance; hemorrhage and rapid reformation of the membrane follow removal. This disease has been described in Doberman Pinschers. Thick opaque membranes of the palpebral conjunctiva and nictitating membranes were present bilaterally (Ramsey et al.). On histolology there was a thick, amorphous, eosinophilic, hyaline-like material in the substantia propria of the conjunctiva in the absences of amyloid (Ramsey et al.). The cause is unknown. |
