| 英文描述 | Four related Bouvier des Flandres dogs developed a moyopathy characterized by histologic muscle changes including fiber size variation, atrophy and hypertrophy, fiber loss, variable necrosis and phagocytosis, regeneration, fibers with internal nuclei, and fibrosis (Braund et al.). Two of the dogs had signs, which developed at about 2 years of age. The cause is unknown. Dx by biopsy. Megaesophagus was seen in the 2 dogs with clinical signs. A syndrome of dysphagia due to muscular dystrophy of the pharyngeal and esophageal muscles was reported in Bouviers in Holland (Peeters et al.). |
