| 英文描述 | Collie eye anomaly is a congenital disease inherited as an autosomal recessive trait. Although it is called 'collie eye', this syndrome has been described in other breeds (Bedford). Opthalmoscopic changes may involve the sclera, choroid, retina, retinal vasculature, and optic disc. Severity of disease varies from no visual deficit to complete blindness (rare). Dx by opthalmoscopic exam, signs. The main ophthalmoscopic changes are chorioretinal dysplasia, coloboma of the optic disc or adjacent areas, retinal detachment, and intraocular hemoprrhage. There is no treatment. |
