| 英文描述 | Affects all ages of dogs but usually 2-4 years old. Characterized by sudden onset of vomiting, severe bloody diarrhea, and hemoconcentration. Schnauzers, poodles, other toy and miniature breeds may be predisposed. Etiology is not known. Dx is based on clinical signs, and markedly elevated hematocrit without comparable loss in skin turgor. Parvovirus is the main disease which must be excluded. |
