| 英文描述 | Minute Virus of Canines (MVC, also known as canine parvovirus-1) is a parvovirus distinct from canine parvovirus-2, the cause of enteritis and myocarditis seen worldwide. Previously thought to be nonpathogenic, MVC has been associated with enteritis of young puppies, with signs ranging from mild to fata. In experimental infection there were bronchitis, pneumonia, and lymphadenitis, as well as embryo resorption but firm data establishing this virus as an important cause of canine reproductive disease are lacking. Histologic lesions in this disease differ from those in canine parvovirus-2 enteritis. Dx by isolation of the virus. This is a widely distributed and prevalent virus. |
