| 中文描述 | 黃金獵犬在發育的過程中，可能會有毛髮、睫毛脫落症(分岔)出現。用顯微鏡可以發現，在毛髮的末梢會有分岔的現象。為了正確診斷近軸部1~2公分的地方，檢查時必須避開正常的退色的地方(Scott and Rothstein)。這症狀可能是屬於原發性的，或是在毛髮上噴灑有關。症狀有好有壞。 |

| 英文描述 | Golden Retrievers can develop trichoptilosis (split ends) characterized by microscopically-visible longitudinal (lengthwise) splitting of the distal end of the hair shaft. For diagnosis the proximal 1-2 cm of the shaft should be examined to avoid the effects of normal weathering (Scott and Rothstein). This condition might be idiopathic or associated with sprays on the hair. Signs might wax and wane. |
