| 英文描述 | Canine atopy is an intensely pruritic disease caused by a reaction to environmental allergens. Skin damage is the result of pruritus and includes trauma, secondary seborrhea, and secondary pyoderma. There is often an associated otitis externa and/or conjunctivitis; 1 in 10 might show hyperhidrosis. Onset is usually at 1 to 3 years of age. Depending on the allergen involved the disease might be seasonal. This is one of the most common skin diseases of dogs. |
