| 英文描述 | Vascular ring anomalies due to abnormal development of the branchial arch arteries are seen in the dog and cat. A persistent right aortic arch is most common, but rare malformations such as aberrant left subclavian artery, double aortic arches, aberrant right subclavian artery, persistent right ductus arteriosus with normal aortic arch, persistent right dorsal aorta, and aberrant intercostal arteries have been described in dogs and/or cats. Clinical signs are due to stenosis of the esophagus as it passes through the ring. There can be secondary pneumonia. Dx confirmed at surgery or necropsy. |
