| 英文描述 | There are very rare reports of dogs and cats which developed progressive flaccid paresis with muscular atrophy. This disease usually begins in young animals, although adults can be affected. At necropsy there was degeneration and loss of neurons in the ventral gray matter of the spinal cord, with no cause of the lesion apparent. An inherited form of motor neuron disease resembling spinal muscular atrophy of humans has been reported in Maine Coon cats. Dx at necropsy. |
