| 英文描述 | Mammary neoplasia is common in aged female dogs and cats. Multiple gland involvement occurs in about 50% of canine cases. The most common tumor in dogs is the benign mixed mammary tumor, with adenocarcinoma next most common. There can be familial patterns of mammary tumor incidence in dogs. Risk of malignancy is higher in the cat, where adenocarcinoma is most common. Metastasis via the lymphatics is the usual means of spread; regional lymph nodes and lungs are the most common sites for metastases. Dx is based on signs, age, and histopathology. |
