| 英文描述 | Aplastic anemia is characterized by failure of cell production at the bone marrow level, and can involve just failure of red cell production or pancytopenia with absence of all types of cells in the marrow. Many cases are idiopathic, but radiation and some toxic agents have been associated with this problem in several species, and Feline Leukemia Virus is the cause in some feline cases. Congenital pure red blood cell aplasia was reported in a dog. |
