| 英文描述 | Tinnitus is a sound that orginates in the head of and is perceived by a person. While this cannot be documented in animals there are reports that dogs, cats and horses can project a sound that can be heard up to 15-20 inches from the head of the animal, a phenomenon known as otoacoustic emission. Treatment has not been described, and does not appear to be necessary (Sims et al.). |
