| 中文描述 | 伺機性霉菌感染少見於家畜動物。是由細胞壁有黑色素或類似黑色素的霉菌所引起。馬匹在毛髮完整的皮膚上會產生結節，或是身體多處出現直徑1-3公分的脫毛斑或膿泡。而在犬貓則出現皮下結節，可能很乾燥，或是有潰瘍，發紅，或壞死。也有系統性的伺機性霉菌感染的報告。由霉菌培養和組織學診斷。 |
| 英文描述 | Phaeohyphomycosis is rare in domestic animals. It is caused by fungi with melanin or melanin-like pigment in their cell walls. In horses there can be cutaneous nodules with intact haired skin, or 1-3 cm diameter plaques with alopecia and pustules on various parts of the body. In cats and dogs, it may present as subcutaneous nodules that might drain, or as an area of ulceration, erythema, or necrosis. Systemic phaeohyphomycosis has also been described. Dx by culture and histology. |
