| 英文描述 | Hypercalcemia is common in animals with both parathyroid and nonparathyroid neoplasia, and can cause clinical signs independent of the signs due to local effects of the tumor. In some cases the hypercalcemia leads to a search for the tumor which might be causing it. Dx by elevated serum calcium levels and ruling out other causes of hypercalcemia. |
