| 英文描述 | Laryngeal or pharyngeal neoplasms are uncommon in domestic animals. Many tumor types have been reported, including lipoma, myxochondroma, fibrosarcoma, fibropapilloma, oncocytoma, mast cell tumor, osteosarcoma, leiomyoma, squamous cell, osteosarcoma, mastocytoma, oncocytoma, melanoma, rhabdomyosarcoma, epithelial tumor with sarcomatous features, thyroid carcinoma and adenocarcinoma. Most laryngeal tumors in cats are lymphosarcomas. Dx is by signs, exam, radiology, and histopathology. Treat by surgical removal through a laryngoscope or ventral neck incision, however the prognosis is poor in advanced disease. |
