| 中文描述 | 犬貓的申克氏絲孢子菌感染症是一種罕見的真菌性疾病。本疾病經由受到病原汙染的傷口或外傷造成感染，而引起下列多種不同嚴重程度的症狀: 只感染局部皮膚、感染皮膚與淋巴管、形成膿腫而且從皮膚傷口流出膿汁、引發骨關節疾病、甚至於全身瀰漫性病灶。經由真菌培養或傷口壓片做診斷。在一些病例，傷口下方的肌肉或骨組織會裸露出來。此疾病會傳染給人類。 |

| 英文描述 | SPOROTHRIX SCHENCKII is a rare cause of fungal disease in the dog and cat. Infection follows wound contamination or trauma and might result in various syndromes: local skin involvement only; involvement of skin and lymphatics; abcessation and draining tracts; osteoarticular disease; and disseminated disease. Dx is by culture or impression smear. In some cases the underlying muscle and bone can be exposed. This disease can be spread to people. |
