| 中文描述 | 在犬隻曾被發現有一種單側的顏面肌肉持續性攣縮的症狀；在貓也有類似報告，不過非常罕見。病因不明，但是懷疑是某種病變造成顏面神經的刺激所致。有報告曾提出此疾病與中耳炎一起發生，且為原因不明的自發性疾病。可能會同時觀察到霍納氏症候群(Horner's syndrome)。對側的臉部常是正常的。 |
| 英文描述 | A constant contracture of all the facial muscles on one side of the head has been observed in dogs; this syndrome has also been reported in cats but is very rare. Etiology is unknown but a lesion causing irritation of the facial nerve is suspected. Has been reported concurrently with otitis media and as a spontaneous, idiopathic syndrome. Signs of Horner's syndrome may be seen. Opposite side of face is often normal. |
