| 英文描述 | Actinomycosis is a cause of pyogranulomatous infections in the dog and cat, including cervicofacial abscesses, empyema, osteomyelitis, abdominal abscesses, cutaneous granulomas, or rarely, disseminated disease. Infection is often by penetrating trauma, and mature hunting breeds are often affected. Clinical syndrome is usually a localized swelling and infection of the affected area. Dx is by cytology, histology, and culture of the organism. ACTINOMYCES VISCOSUS is the most common isolate. |
